One Year Later……
I have started & restarted this blog several times without knowing how to accurately portray the happiness & gratitude that consumes me.
This is the one & only warning that this post may be a bit sappier than normal.
It’s FangirlFormula’s 1st birthday!
One year ago, I decided that in the higher powers year that was 2025, I was going to start a blog. Starting a blog in a time when short form content & podcasts are king, it was probably not something that anyone would actually advise. But, we persist. I found that I needed an outlet to express my thoughts on Formula One in a longer form way that let my friends & family find reprieve from me. I wanted to write more & I had the free time. Thus, Fangirl Formula was born.
Over the past year, the blog has evolved to cover more topics across sports & my life in general. I have written countless words & had many a breakdown in this tiny corner of the internet. It has allowed me to grow as a writer & explore a space that I thought I may never take up space in, even though it was a dream of mine.
I am forever grateful to the family & friends whom feel a deep sense of obligation to support by reading each blog post, comment, or interact on the Instagram. (yes, there is an Instagram @fangirlformula) Without you, I probably would’ve closed up shop & just journaled the rest of my days away. You are really the only ones who truthfully read these & some of you, only when I passive aggressively bring it up to you. And, I will continue to bully you until the end of my days about it too. Acting like I can’t see the analytics. Anyway, I love your support no matter how it ends up happening.
I wanted to share some of the hard numbers & analytics with you guys as a way to more concretely portray how your support has allowed this website to grow & instill me with a sense of confidence to continue.

So, I am forever indebted to you my loyal fangirls & boys because even though I will forever think that no one outside of my few friends and family are reading this, the numbers don’t lie. Which is a scary thought. You are allowing me to continue on my quest of being a verb & not a noun.
My one request is that you continue to read & interact with this website & this page. I want to continue to grow & evolve what this website is & does. Obviously, there will be misses but hopefully even more hits along the way.
