Free Practices:
One of my most favorite things we took from our 3 practice sessions was seeing both our Williams drivers in the top 3 after FP1. That is something I think we should hope to see more. Williams may not have the points right now to be in serious conversations but they have the opportunity to make things more difficult for the drivers and teams at the front of the field. I love when a team has the opportunity to play disrupter a bit. Their progress this season is fantastic to watch, so let’s hope they continue to build.
I will say my take aways are that Mercedes and Max are looking quite fast this weekend and are going to really make McLaren work for it in qualifying. Last year, we have a George and Max front row and after the events of the last race, if we are repeating that….. well we are in for a chaotic start to the race.

the fact that Lance is in a car right now is absolutely insane to me
Yuki is getting a 10 place grid penalty so hopefully he can get into Q3 to make it not a P20 start - overtook Oscar while under a red flag

The fact they got Alex back out on track with time to do another lap is absolutely insane
Im hoping if I choose to ignore the red team this weekend we may get a competitive(ish) race from them

So funny when they ask drivers about potential penalties right after they get out of the car - I am always so curious as to how they want them to react?
The second that Crofty starts talking fast my heartbeat increases drastically and then I remind myself we are only in Q2
Charles should come out with merch with all his best team radio messages because “… Im not gonna speak” is easily one of the best

Sunday Strategy
Alright y’all, the best way to get through this race is to start on the mediums, pit between laps 15- 21, change onto the hards, and pit again between laps 39 - 45 to get a new set of hard tyres.
Depending on how frisky our teams are feeling on this lovely Sunday afternoon, we may see a team start on the mediums, pit between laps 18-24 switch to the hards, and pit for new mediums for the end of the race between laps 43- 49.
Both strategies confirm we are looking at a 2 stopper and that more than likely we will be having teams hope for a safety car to help give them a cheap pit stop. Considering who we have started on our front row… I wouldn’t be shocked to see it make an appearance.

guys the longer we get into this race the more stressed i get that Lando and Charles haven’t gone into the pits but Im not sure when they should

Charles is just not having it
there really is a lot of drivers not happy with the move the teams are making
I no longer know what the ideal strategy is nothing is making sense anymore

I need everyone. and I mean everyone up and down the track to sit down and FIGURE IT OUT. Why were we having drivers not being listened to? McLaren. You figure it out most of all. I’m tired of this. Everyone better be showing up to Austria in better shape or I am cancelling my vacation you’ll be feeling my wrath in Silverstone.
